Is jealousy just fear?

I’m not a particularly jealous person, unless I’m insecure about something. I’m jealous of other random girls only when I don’t love myself because then I don’t believe I’m good enough. I’m jealous of specific girls only when I’m insecure in the relationship and I’m afraid he’ll leave for them.
